In the last few days, about 20-25 people of the village have been bitten by snakes. Last year, three people, including a child, died of snake bites after the monsoon. This year, one more person has died due to snake bite. People here keep seeing poisonous snakes from time to time. 20 to 25 people have been bitten by snakes so far.

This incident was reported by Food Officer Bulbul Islam of Basirhat Block 2 Panchayat Samiti, who said that awareness is being raised among the people about going to the hospital for treatment. Apart from this, the Forest Department is being continuously contacted. In a few days, lights will be installed on the electric poles on the road.
